I’m an award-winning textile artist and lifelong creative, with awards including the Excellence Award at the 2025 Cleveland National Art Awards (Textile / Embroidery / Stitch) and the Audrey Thomas Award from the Franklin Arts Festival Society. My journey into textile art began during a challenging time when my daughter was unwell. During her recovery, I created what I now call my “positivity pictures” — vibrant textile pieces designed to bring hope and encouragement into our days.

My work has since grown to include landscapes and textured pieces inspired by the Pohutukawa Coast, where I live, often using reclaimed and repurposed fabrics.

Alongside my art, I run relaxed, hands-on workshops for adults and children, drawing on my experience teaching STEAM-based creative classes. I’m passionate about creating welcoming spaces where people can slow down, connect and rediscover the joy of making.
